Rory Hock
HI I'M RORY, and welcome to my page I am one of the 'lucky' ones, doing something I truly love - a home based business in Personal Development.
I'm a true blue Aussie, growing up in the NT, now settled in NSW.
My business allows me to make choices every day. I choose the hours that I work, and I choose to be there for my family so we can form the kinds of memories a family should have.
I have travelled a bit in my younger years. Did the backpacking thing and lived in the UK for 5 years, doing little side trips to Europe. It was an amazing part of my life, but eventually I came back to where my heart really lies. The urge to travel is just as strong, but now I aim to create amazing memories as a family.
I'm passionate about working with others, who want to create freedom and flexibility in their own lives. I'm looking for those who desire change, and always create bigger and better goals to strive for. In short, I'm looking for those who want one thing:
To create an extraordinary life being your true extraordinary self.
This was our daughter's year 10 graduation last year. Thanks to the flexibility here, we were able to join her and her friends in town for photo's before they all went off for the evening party.
Yes, I do this business with the aim to create memories with my family, but it's just the best that I get to work from home every day, with just my laptop and phone, and I can tap into a community of inspiring, like-minded people every day.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE
I decided to leave the hospitality industry. I had a ball travelling and working, and found I also had success in building a career, but I decided to come back to Australia and return to university to head down a new path. Problem was, I didn't know what that new path was, I was just hoping I would find it along the way. I didn't really have a clear direction.
NOT SO SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS
I used to be in an MLM (Multilevel Marketing) business. It was, and still is a great company, and I enjoyed my time with them, but I found after 4 years I wasn't making an income, I was often purchasing products myself to meet monthly targets, my friends and family were distancing themselves, and the excitement I felt when I received orders to organise and deliver to my customers just wasn't there any more.
THE HUNT FOR THE ONLINE JOB
A few years later, and the growing desire to find something I could do from home, got me searching online. That's how I came across this online business. The funny thing was, I wasn't searching for a business. I thought I was searching for a job. It took coming across this opportunity, twice over 12 months, to realise there had to be something here that has attracted me to it again. So I looked deeper into it, and here I am!
THE RIGHT BUSINESS FOR ME
I know I can stop searching. I am where I want to be. The Personal Development courses and events have changed, and continue to change my life. I feel like I have found myself; I'm happy and becoming the best version of me. The business is in a box, but also gives the freedom for all of us to grow how we want to, so everyone's business is unique to them. I'm privileged to work with incredible entrepreneurs who are supportive, talented and simply the best in their field. And there is no hierarchy. Everyone has exactly the same opportunities and growth potential. How far I take this is really up to me!
